DEVELOPING YOUR FAITH For Sick
How long this takes depends on you - your learning ability - and how bad you want to get better. The idea is to drive these Scriptures deep into your being so they become part of you. This is more than memorizing them, more than just praying about this, because, this may mean changing your life.
If you do not belong to a Full Bible Preaching Church, that believes that God can and often will heal you. then I strongly recommend that you find one.
In July 1981 Guideposts I found 36 Scriptures to Build Your Faith, - HEAL ME, O LORD; - as assembled by, Marilyn Ludolf, of Winston-Salem, N Carolina. Who was like the the woman in Mk 5:25-34, who touched Jesus garment, with many medical problems; so this is geared to people with medical problems; this will work for physical - spiritual, - emotional, - mental problems as well. On the next page I found, - "Just Three Little Words", by Marjorie Holms, - "I Enjoy This" - Which is every bit as good for your life as "I like this" or "I love this". So When you start doing something boring like this lesson or something that is difficult or challenging, that you know will be good for you in the long run, say out loud so you can hear yourself say "I Enjoy This", 5 times; after a while your whole life will become more enjoyable.
I used a parallel 4 translation Bible - King James - Modern Language - Living Bible, Revised Standard BIBLE, and added supplementary scriptures to help and enhance the original list. I personalized as much as possible.
